This was one of my least favorite books. I powered through it and to its credit the story was compelling enough to make me want to find out what happened. The writing was just atrocious though. So many similes - just describe the thing you don’t need to compare it to something. The book was about twice as long as it needed to be and I felt every page. The twists at the end were just ridiculous too - quick let’s throw in abortion and a gay character for no reason at all. I would not recommend it at all.
