I just... Couldn't get into this book. There were too many characters and I didn't find any of them particularly compelling. The chapters were short enough to be almost gimmicky (like, the moment there's any kind of increase in stakes, immediately cut away to the other four characters). I wanted to like it, but it felt like as soon as you had the facts, you could easily predict where each character's story was going to go (except Mandy's but that one was just absolutely wild from beginning to end) and each one tied up impossibly nicely. In fact, the endings were all so neat I was honestly quite disappointed.
