Technofeudalism: What Killed Capitalism by Yanis Varoufakis
3.75
Very dense at times, I don't think it helped that I didn't have a physical copy to annotate and browse through. Oftentimes I find Varoufakis' style too sensationalistic which is a shame as his ideas are incredibly valuable, but hey. Really enjoyed that he finishes with some constructive hopeful ideas and suggestions, unlike books on similar topics like Zuboff's one on surveillance capitalism. We need ideas and projects like Varoufakis's to keep going, and though sometimes the economics stuff went over my head, ultimately I was able to follow it okay and found the book really insightful.
