Hidden Waters by Catherine Cowles
5.0
Addie YALL! First off this series is just - I want to yell from the rooftops- soo good. Like I want this baby to be 20 books long- good. Love the small town- the landscape- the anti-goverment cult- the family you want to join- the badass ladies- the book boyfriend males- I can not get enough. So yeah go read this- start at book one and then we can talk about Addie and Beckett.
Cowles is literally a master at romance suspense and she just keeps getting better! I mean we get a doctor trying to make up for what he thinks is his sins going around the world and comes back home to be back with his family. We get Addie who was abused her whole life thanks to her father and the crazy anti-gov christian extreme cult who gets out and is now learn to trust others but also be herself. We of course get some wonderful twists and turns that are perfect.
But for real y’all if you like mystery with romance or romance with a hint of suspense you have to read these!
