What You Are Looking For Is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama

5.0

This was such a short and sweet read. If I could describe a comfort read through any book it would be this one. The book has about 5 chapters and each follows the story of a character at wildly different points in their lives, and facing different struggles, with one thing in common - they all receive book recommendations from the librarian at their community house and end up finding what they have been looking for - whether in their lives or in the library. It was especially cute how the characters were all loosely knit around the same circle - a background character in one chapter may have a significant appearance or role in another character's chapter. It was an easy read and filled with precious takeaways.
Creating a shelf for books I'll be re-reading in honor of this book, cause if I ever do re-read a book it would include this one.
