This book was BOOTY. It was bad. It was just... ugh.
The reverse-sexism and anti-feminist writing in this book made it painful to get through. And like.... ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR PRETEEN GIRLS??!?! HUHHHH? Not to mention, all the flipping character development went straight out the window.... all of the characters were infuriating...
The only person who was tolerable was Sophie. She was the most human, and I loved how much she had changed throughout the books. I loved that she had inner conflict with her evil vs. good side and was only thinking and acting out of her love for Aggie and her desperation to not end up alone. I really felt for her in this book, and it's like nobody really saw her trying to change.
Aggie, on the other hand.... ew get her away from me. How in df did she go from Sophie being her best friend to being scared of her, doubting her, being distant, and replacing her with a boy... A FLIPPING BOY SHE HASNT EVEN HAD MANY SCENES WITH WTFFFFF!!! Her character was so disappointing in this book. Screw her.
Ted, or whatever df his name is... I couldn't give a flying fudge about him. He was stupid. He was a misogynistic butt hole who couldn't get his head out of his butt. No wonder his mom left him. I'd leave him too. And his dad because they're both bad people.
Overall rating: 2/5
