17 year old Everly gets recruited by the rebellion. She finally has a chance to get revenge on the ones who hurt her family. Unfortunately, gaining a spot with the rebels is extremely difficult. She now has to face a series of dangerous, life-threatening trials to succeed. Eventually, they make a deal with her, but is Everly truly able to trust them?
I had an absolute blast while reading this book! I must say that I'm super impressed by the fact that this is a debut novel! The author wrote such an intense journey. It was so easy to find myself lost in the pages, I never wanted this book end! Everly was such an amazing character and truly a strong individual. To be able to endure what she has is something that's completely astonishing!
