Blood Meridian, or, the Evening Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy
4.0
A haunting mid-western tale full of violence, death and men without morality. Definitely a cool read, although watching works of the Coen brothers (no country for old men is also a McCarthy novel) already familiarized me a bit with the biblical like characters and excessive violence that McCarthy uses in his book.
Sometimes the book really sucked me in, but there were also parts where the writing was a bit unclear (by for example not being sure who the subject of a sentence was). This made it not the smoothest read, but definitely a worthwhile one.
