I loved the beginning of this and was giggling to myself for the first quarter. But I kept waiting for her to have another run-in with the legal system due to several incidents later in the book. But it never happens! It felt like the writer set it up but then dropped the thread. That felt odd for what is an established author.
Overall, cute premise but didn’t quite land.
