A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

5.0

What an enchanting Christmas story.

“I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach.”

This is the longest I have been without my surface since Paris 2018. And let me tell you: my notifications are all eXpLoDiNg.

I had a nice two hour flight, one hour of which I read this book cover-to-cover. This tale is honestly such a comfort story for me--given how many times I've seen the play. This felt like a redemption from how mediocre this year's play was. Wonderful Christmastime read.

Also I just reached my (actual) goal of 120 books in 2021!!! *woop woop*

Have a wonderful Christmas eve eve eve
