I probably should have read both books closer together so that I could remember the details more clearly, but overall I liked the duology. Although not entirely the same genre, but it really gave me similar feels to the Divine Rivals/Ruthless Vows duology, except with a tidbit more depth. I enjoyed both books (Heartless Hunter & Rebel Witch) and enjoyed the up and down ride of the enemies-to-lover pull between Rune and Gideon.
