This was not what I expected, haha, but it was still a fun read! Was it a romance? I'm not really sure. It had these snippets of flirty fun, but the moments of spice were spaced out to the point that I kind of forgot about them and started feeling like this had "closed door" vibes. And, the intensity... wow, haha. I honestly kept waiting for it to cool down in the lost-at-sea sense and "heat up" in another sense, if ya know what I mean. I really liked Zeke and Lexi, though. Their chemistry was great and personality wise. They just felt well written and like good humans. Without spoiling anything, I'll just say that the ending reaaaally threw me, and it just never sat with me well. It didn't leave any unanswered questions, and I appreciate that, but still... I just couldn't vibe with it. I'd recommend it if you like your romances with a good bit of anxiety and a little bit of spice 😆
