Changeless by Gail Carriger
2.0

The reason I enjoyed Soulless and swiftly went and purchased Changeless when it came out was the way it flouted and reinforced Victorian sensibilities and romance, with the special focus on the sexless part of the romance.

Carriger wrote several hard-earned but amazing scenes of intimacy, without the characters actually engaging in intercourse. Lust, passion, frustration, wanton need, all that wrapped up in a somewhat interesting mystery story.

Changeless, suddenly, turns shy in this way. Any reference to sex is far chaster than a PG13 film, despite the characters claim that the sex is wild and freeing.

I don't know what scared Carriger away, but it's probably keeping my from caring about the upcoming Blameless.
