The New Home by Chris Merritt
4.0

Documentary maker Freya and her cardiologist fiancé Jack move into a renovation project of a house which they hope will become their forever home.

Freya is immediately struck with her new neighbours and their perfect house and family, which are just what she is dreaming of.

But then her new friend vanishes one day with her daughter.

Freya becomes increasingly suspicious. The husband does not seem very concerned. The police are not willing to listen to her concerns. But at the same time, Jack seems to be plotting behind her back.

Great potential but I would have preferred the main story to be faster paced. 3.5 rounded to 4 ⭐
