Forces of Nature by Elle Rivers
5.0

This book is phenomenal! I’ve been reading Elle’s books for over a year now, and you can tell she has really stepped up her writing game. I’ve loved all of her books, but I’m so excited to see where she continues to go.

Now, onto the review of the book, Forces of nature is a rivals to lovers, second chance(ish), workplace romance. We have Ruth and Knox. Ruth has grown up constantly feeling like she’ll never measure up. Her parents only care about their children’s successes and achievements academically and professionally.
Knox grew up in a very opposite household. His parents showered him with love and kindness and celebrated all of his wins. What Knox viewed as banter and friendly competition, Ruth viewed as her own personal hell and never measuring up.
This is the first book in a series of stand-alones, but I’m so excited to dive deeper into Ruth’s family dynamics and learning more about her family members.
The relationship is not a slow burn, but the spice hits at about 55%. Knox is an amazing book boyfriend. All of Elle’s men she writes are amazing, and my favorite part about them is they’re so realistic.

Definitely pick up this book. It’s a great read, and while you’re there check out her back catalog!
