I'm speechless. I'm torn between 3.5 and 4.
The first half was a bit disgusting and utterly disturbing. But the end... I don't know what to think. 

It makes sense that Verity wasn't bad from the letter but how twisted can a person be to write such an autobiography detailing murder attempts and actual murder of their own child? But if the letter was a lie, then can someone be so evil without anyone noticing it?

I settle on 3.5 cuz I didn't really enjoy it, just felt like the author did a good job wrecking a story.
