The Good Sister
by Sally Hepworth
Having listening to it on audiobook, I felt like the experience was amplified. 28 year old twins Rose and Fern are polar opposites. Fern has a sensory processing disorder, works at the library and enjoys her job. She also had a routine that she follows to a T and is not a huge fan of change. When she discovers her sister is unable to have a baby, she throws all to the wing and is determined to make her dreams come true. When the truth of a hidden past comes to the surface, everything changes in Fern’s world as she knows it.
Sally Hepworth had my attention the WHOLE time and hooked me from the beginning. This slow-burn thriller was just that. Enthralling, mysterious and so well done. I wish I would’ve picked this up sooner. 4.5/5
