Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
3.0
I enjoyed the questions of morality and ethics, but I have to say the story was a bit slower than I expected.
Raskolnikov seems clearly mental.
Actually, pretty much ALL Russians seem kind of mental from this book--extremely excitable and agitated and unstable. They're constantly beating each other and getting drunk and... yeah, like just seems kind of miserable for all concerned.
Hate to be such a downer... I really remember liking War and Peace and Anna Karenina, but this one... just didn't do it for me.
