Too bad I can only give this 5 stars, it's definitely the best book I've read in 2024!! I wasn't sure how it would be, since it's been 15 years since the previous book, but Fforde picks up his story right where Shades of Grey ended, supplying some answers to this crazy world he's created, but asking more questions. I hope he plans a third volume because the story is not complete, and I hope I don't have to wait another 15 years.
