That was just as painful as the original book, not that I'd expect anything less from Adam Silvera. Knowing you're going to bawl at a book doesn't prepare you for actually doing it. That was profound and meaningful and heartbreaking in all the best ways.
The throwbacks (or throwforwards?) to the original book were a little extra slice of heartbreak that I wasn't expecting. But this is a story that makes you glad to feel that kind of pain, just because you know you're alive.
