Fables, Vol. 7: Arabian Nights by Bill Willingham

4.0

A typical Fables book - lush art, detailed backstory tied to sketchy current story, with a little bit of plot movement. The Arabian Fables are meeting with Fabletown for the first time. I can't say I'm particularly interested in this storyline but it's done well. Blue's part in this one is small but especially good - kind of a reframing of why he did what he did in the previous book. And Blue's interactions with Rose Red are quite enjoyable. So a little formulaic but it is a good formula and well done.
