Beyond the End of the World by Meagan Spooner, Amie Kaufman
4.0

This duology was a brilliant blending of sci-fi and fantasy, and a good introduction to either genre (ie, if you read fantasy, it's a great slow introduction to sci-fi, and the same vice versa).

I loved seeing North and Nimh's growth in this book, and how the world really struggled with the past events.

I don't want to say too much, because I don't want to accidentally spoil anything, but I will say that if you enjoyed the first one, you'll also enjoy this one!

My only gripe with this book was the use of the amnesia trope in the beginning. In my mind, two people were involved in that situation, so why did only one remember? Thankfully, it didn't last too long, and I was able to go back to enjoying the book!
