The 99 Boyfriends of Micah Summers is cute and fluffy.
I loved the graphics!
The scavenger hunt to find Boy 100 at the beginning of the book was fun to read.
I feel like some of the important bonding moments were just kind of… montaged over? Like, Micah would go, “Grant/Elliot and I hung and got into a rhythm.” Great, but I wanted to see a little more of that on page.
Micah kinda reminded me of Marinette Dupain-Cheng. He’s got a very idealized outlook on people and love. A head in the clouds, optimistic, fantasy outlook. I couldn’t entirely relate to his hopeless romantic demeanor.
There is closed door sex and kissing. Micah describes the taste of spit.
