If Harry Potter has not existed when I was younger, this would have affected me the exact same way. Interesting magic system that is forced upon you right off the bat, for which I think was done well because it was basically front loaded for me. I love the evolution of the two MC’s relationship. All the characters are interesting and I found myself wanting to learn more about all of them.
