i actually really liked this play—specifically laura—and tenessee williams’ use of symbols & motifs was rather thought-provoking. laura: slowly opening up when the gentleman caller came, realizing that she is not so unloveable as she thinks—she shows growth and a new perspective, and ends the play with a newly-found sense of self. she is my favorite, i think, and the only dynamic character to boot.
