Easy Charm by Kristen Proby

5.0

Easy Charm is the second book in the Boudreaux Series. Book one, Easy Love introduced us to Rhys and Gabby. Rhys is Kate's cousin and a major league pitcher. Gabby is Eli's baby sister. She runs a B&B on the Bayou. Rhys goes to stay at Gabby's B&B for some R&R recouping from a shoulder surgery. There is chemistry from the moment they meet. Their dance of love is a joy to watch. Gabby does everything she can to avoid Rhys. Rhys is the type of man woman wish for. It has been Gabby and her son, Sam, since she got pregnant. It leaves Gabby very protective and gun shy. Rhys is very good with her son. Rhys is very loving and patient with Gabby. Determination, doubt, and fear are prevalent throughout the story. Rhys works hard to break down Gabby's walls. When doubt slips in it won't take much for Gabby to put the walls back up. Rhys is as determined as ever, pulling out all the stops to get her back. I would read the book again just for the "awwwww" factor. Rhys is so sweet. Gabby is such a good mom. Sam is a great little kid. Together they would make the perfect family, if Gabby would just agree.
