2.5 stars because i LOVED reading this but the book itself is genuinely insane and so toxic.
*minor spoilers ahead!!!*
let me start off with bj ballentine.
I HATED HIM with a burning passion. he does not deserve magnolia. he was so toxic and constantly played the victim. he had no business blaming magnolia for his pain when HE DID THAT TO HIMSELF.
HE cheated on HER. he was CONSTANTLY sleeping with other girls and she wasn’t allowed to get mad at him, but the second she got into a relationship (whether real or not), she was seen as satan.
him getting mad at HER for being mad at HIM for cheating on HER “because he wanted to” made absolutely zero sense to me. if he could just be loyal for two seconds, all their problems would be immediately solved.
same thing with him getting mad at her because CHRISTIAN was in love with her. HOW WAS THAT HER FAULT??? AND THEN CHRISTIAN BLAMING HER BECAUSE HE LIKED HER. EXCUSE ME??? WHERE IS THE LOGIC?????????????
