Breach of Duty by J.A. Jance

dark emotional mysterious fast-paced

5.0

This one packed a punch. It is the third JP Beaumont that I read, and there were links to the later books as far as characters and references to cases. JA Jance is at her best with this one. Having lived in the Seattle area for most of my life, the setting is always great. It was a nice surprise that she referenced a very rare condition, Stevens-Johnson syndrome - Harborview is one of the foremost hospitals treating this - as I have survived a version of SJ. So, maybe my personal links bias my reading a bit, but I really felt this one was well done.
