This novel had a lot of little aspects of plot or characters that were similar to pride and prejudice that made my read of the novel less enjoyable I felt like I was constantly finding similarities and comparing the two. Although I did like the relationship between the sisters more favorably in this novel. My love for there relationship was slow to build. This novel really lacked the romance for me. I was very confused by the final pairing/ ending so convenient personally. I feel like

Brandon and Elinor would have more likely ended up together since when Brandon came to visit them in London he only interacted/talked with Elinor. Even though he would have been settling it gave kinda Jo, Laurie and Amy vibes. Edward didn’t really do anything to win my affection. Brandon was the one to steel my heart by trying to provide a living for Edward and Lucy.
