Another knockout from Ali Brady! I loved this story of two sisters trying to save their business, stand on their feet as individuals, and of course, find some love along the way.

Ali Brady’s first novel, THE BEACH TRAP, gave definite summer vibes, but I would argue that THE COMEBACK SUMMER could be enjoyed year round. Does it take place in summer? Yes. But is the season in which it takes place a main character? Nope, not this time. Chicago is definitely a character, though, and it was an extra bonus for me to read part of this book as we drove through The Windy City.

The chemistry of the sisters, their love interests, and the intricate weave that holds the 4 of them together kept the pages turning til the very end (and it was worth it, all 400+ pages). This book captured everything that women’s fiction should feature; a cast of characters you can root for, real life issues weaved in, and a bonus of some L-O-V-E!

I look forward to the next by this fabulous author duo!
