Origins: The Fire by Debra Driza

4.0

I admit I'm not the brightest at times...Nor do I read things very carefully, such as....synopses...
Needless to say, I thought this was [b:Mila 2.0|10222362|Mila 2.0 (MILA 2.0, #1)|Debra Driza|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1341031998s/10222362.jpg|15122092], so I was quite shocked to see it was only 60 pages. After I figured out it was a novella that wasn't essential to the story, I was pissed I'd spent money on it! It wasn't bad at all, in fact I actually quite liked where I think the story is heading, but I wouldn't have paid for it. The details of the fire aren't that important to the story. Or at least the first 40 pages of it....
Anyway, I will read Mila 2.0, and I sure as hell will be reading synopses more closely now.
