: Fundamentally is bloody hilarious.
You’re transported to Nadia’s world who has a bad breakup and takes on a job in the UN to deradicalise Isis brides. Somewhat unusual response to a breakup lol. She gets swept up by one girl’s story and loses focus on her project - because she was never in the right headspace to accept the job in the first place. Very different to what I normally read and pretty unbelievable but I enjoyed the humour throughout the book. However, I did feel that the themes around terrorism and the journey to radicalisation were oversimplified and I wish it delved deeper into these themes.
