The Summer of You by Nagisa Furuya

4.0

This was really cute. Ended a bit conveniently, but I didn't mind. The biggest problems are the speech bubbles, it's hard to tell who's talking sometimes. I like the art and Wataru as a character is so fun. I'll definitely read the next volume.

---mild spoilers?---

Saeki's backstory with his mom is never really explored, which left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. It had the potential to fall into transphobic tropes, but thankfully didn't go anywhere. Still weird to just drop it though, it feels like it was just put into the book for the romance.
