So wholesome, lovely, cozy & yet somehow profound. I’m not usually a fan of lighthearted British literature - I find it can be quite cringey and gimmicky, and while this definitely had elements of that, the raw emotion of the book carried me through. I loved the whole idea of this reading list & finding out the mystery behind it. I loved Mukesh SO much and his sweet relationship with Aleisha. There were a few plot holes & the tragedy near the end felt a bit unexplored/glossed over. But overall I think this was a sweet and sensitive book that shed light on grief, depression, anxiety, joy, blessings, gratitude, different cultures and of course, the importance of reading. 🤍
