So far into this series, this is my favorite book. The hate was there (not as hateful as I wanted it, but hey, it was just enough to be convincing), the tension was truly felt, the spice was hot as fuck (that very first scene *chef's kiss*), the chemistry between them was genuine and not rushed, and overall it was an enjoyable read.

The downside to this is how predictable some of the plot twists are. I have the same issue with the others, including the third-act breakup, and it's starting to get stale quickly. Hopefully, this last book will change that.
