This felt like such a refreshing story to read. I loved the heaps of world building involved (although it felt like New York) and the monsters used were extremely interesting. I loved August and Kate's relationship, so glad there wasn't any romance involved. I feel like Kate and Lila would get on really well. It's a shame I'm on holiday when the next book comes out 😔
