Oh how I love grumpy sunshine trope and the MMC is her bodyguard just makes it that much better.
Sinclair is the daughter of book ones MMC and has heart of gold. She is happy and kind a real ray of sunshine. The world sees her as a spoiled rich kid and she is receiving hate notes. Her father doesn’t like the threats and asks Denver his bodyguard to be Sinclairs bodyguard instead.
Denver is a grumpy, broody, hot hunk of man who is now the bodyguard for the young woman he definitely should not want. He does a great job protecting Sinclair and going above and beyond to take care of her. He can see that she always puts every one’s needs above her own and wants her to be taken care of also.
The chemistry between these too is like fire. Sweet, spicy, with some funny moments in there too. I really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
