This book hooked me from the beginning. It was so easy to get into and the Dual POVs switching from chapter to chapter make it easy to keep going along with the short chapters. I did a mixture of reading and listening to the audiobook and I loved both.
Elenor and Ruby had a lot in common but also lived two very different lives. I really appreciated the author's note at the end which explained her reasoning for writing the book. An enjoyable historical fiction read!
