Flipped back and forth between audio and digital format. I liked both honestly. The audio voices are good, but sometimes its just faster to read words than hear them.

Interesting plot, I liked the FMC more than the MMC for the entirety of the book (whoops). I think the inter-familial drama was way more interesting than the romance or even the ghost stuff. I really connected to the grief and the sibling dynamics, the distance between the "ones who remember" and those who are too young to know. There's a lot of good "background" plot to chew and I wish we had lingered more there. The romance ends up being the catalyst for change to help the FMC deal with her family drama and her friend drama, which I'm glad for, but wish we had seen a bit more ending for them as much as we got happy ending for the pairing.

Worth the read for sure! I don't remember enough about the source inspiration to know if it connection works at all.
