Survive the Night by Riley Sager
Date Read: 15 May 2023
⭐️⭐️⭐️

CW: murder, death, self-harm/suicide attempts, blood, body horror involving teeth (that was really hard for me to type, let alone read), confinement

There were aspects of this I really liked, and there were aspects that made me want to throw my tablet across the room. Even just reading the description of the book, you’re thinking “Really? Is she that dumb?” But we learn more about her and realize there’s more going on than just poor judgement.

This was another one where there were a few tense moments throughout the book, but things really picked up in the last third and I did NOT see the reveal coming. The final few pages were kind of like…”meh, too cheesy” but it didn’t ruin the book for me.
