Holy smokes! This was a bit hard to read because it just made me so mad. It is hard to imagine being so ruled by religious upbringing and beliefs to be in such an unbelievable situation. But it's happening! Simultaneously, I watched Shiny Happy People seasons 1 and 2. Together, I feel like I got an inside look at how this kind of brainwashing happens.
