weird book. i really enjoyed the writing of Mann, which at first was difficult to comprehend, but later on i grew fond of it. it was a great start to come out of the reading block and to read something light being it a small novel. i didn't fully get the creepiness of the main character being in love with a boy, but the plot twist at the end was thought-provoking.
all men are egoistic and praise seeking. i loved the take ons on art and how all the artists are subjected to 'fail' and never understand themselves.
