What a beautiful love letter written to what it means to be human. This definitely makes me want to read more of Haig’s books. 

The reason I rated it 4.5 instead of 5 is
the use of infidelity to move the plot forward. It felt unnecessary, like he could have had the, split up because he was lying or was an alien, and I hate reading about infidelity
