3.5 stars maybe. This started out so strong. The characters are amazing and the storyline fascinating. But somewhere about half way through the pacing got off and that did it for me. Gil’s story was too disjointed and Mayken’s too rushed. Interesting though. I will certainly read up on the Batavia wreck.
