The Eleventh Commandment by Jeffrey Archer
3.0

This book almost got a lower rating from me, but managed to redeem itself in the last couple of chapters.

I really struggled with the first part. I'm never interested in politics at the best of times, and this was riddled with it, whether it was international politics; local politics; or the politics between the government organisations.

I really liked the main character, Connor, and his family.
The US President grew on me towards the end.
And I thought the execution scene was really well/cleverly done (in terms of how it was written).

So, in the end, a solid 3 rating - assuming you can make it through the first part (which, I think, depends on your personal interests/taste).
