BOOK REVIEW : Let me preface this by saying the only reason this book has been given four stars was due to my absolute adoration of the series as a whole. This book on its own, however, had enough dislikable elements that resulted in a finale I can only describe as disappointing. With Silas now dead, we are introduced into the world of the reawakened gods, something that was described, battled and resolved, all in a single book. This was the biggest and most prominent issue for me, followed by Vivian’s unnecessary death, and the cease of character development entirely. I really wish that Tragic Bonds had been the conclusion to this otherwise incredible series, including a six part epilogue featuring a small, final perspective from each of the main characters.

“At least I got to meet each of them. If only for a few moments in a thousand lifetimes, I got to know those who complete my soul.”

Ultimately, Oli and her harem of stubborn, hotheaded, addictive men will always have my heart, this series living rent free on my list of all time favourites.
