 The short story collection is the perfect fairy tale book for lovers of Elfhame. Of course I had to read it asap after finishing The Folk of the Air series. The reader learns a little more about Cardan and why he acts the way he acts in the trilogy. I really enjoyed those short chapters and while reading I felt like taken back to my childhood reading fairy tales. The artworks that come with each short story are very beautiful to look at and I find the artstyle very fitting to the overall atmosphere of the story/world. It was a very beautiful and cozy read!
