i like that things are actually happening for real/the kids are finding things out/it's not just the same old thing every book anymore. i genuinely enjoyed this a lot, especially certain parts like finding out about

the hook handed man's past and his relation to fiona

and the part where

sunny almost died actually had me nervous even though obviously she wouldn't have actually died

. but anyway, yeah, a good installment in this series for sure.
