The Dragonet Prophecy
by Tui T. Sutherland
An OK book about dragons, destiny and war. It was at times a interesting read but at times I just felt like I missed so much while this is the first book in the series. But we do find out some things, and while that answered some of my questions it also gave me more questions. I do like the idea of destiny and I wonder what will happen with the dragonets as they continue to find out about their world, about their birthright, about who they are and who their parents are. But the dragonets, well it was a bit hit and miss for me. Our main dragonet in this one is a mudwing named Clay. He was an OK character but also more of a side-character in way of how he did things, not sure how to explain this better, I am sure in Dutch I would have made it sound better. :P
I loved the friendship between the dragonets and seeing how they showed affection was cute.
The epilogue, WOW.
The art was OK. I did like how the various dragons looked, though at times they looked a bit too alike for me (especially since one of them could change colours).
