Morning Star by Pierce Brown
5.0

If I could rate this 10 stars I would
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning Star is the kind of book that tears you apart and then stitches you back together in ways you’ll never forget. Pierce Brown’s choices here are nothing short of bloody brilliant. This book made me feel everything: shock, pain, fear, anger, rage, joy, laughter, and hope. It’s rare to find a story that can make you both grieve and rejoice in the span of a few chapters, but this one does!

The characters are carved into my memory. Ragnar’s loyalty and sacrifice. Sevro’s wild, unshakable heart, his grit sharpened by the kind of humor that made me laugh when I needed it most. Darrow’s relentless fight to rise when everything screams at him to fall. Mustang’s brilliance. Each one mattered, each one left a mark, and I know I will never forget them.

There were moments I lost hope. Moments I truly grieved. And yet in the heartbreak—there is triumph, laughter, and a hope that shines brighter because of everything it cost to reach it.

It’s a story that takes root in your soul, and long after you close the final page, you’ll still feel its fire burning.
